The norman response from a new promoter is to have 6 big events a year and run the drag track the rest of the time

He took over mid stream. REALLY !! He rebuilt the drag strip LOL. well I can't wait till he gets to the circle track and rebuilds it . I am sure WE all are going to be flabbergasted when he gets done with OSW.

The answer is "of course not". I love the track, and have been an interested observer and participant for many years. Currently, I volunteer for TBARA, so between that, my racecar and my two racing sons, I AM BUSY!

Orlando speed world is a joke

The only thing this owner wanted is the drag strip! The oval was never promoted. Every good business man knows that you need to have 6 month or more of capital and advertisement is a must. No capital improvements where ever made, yet another indication that it was made to fail. How does a owner spend all of his time at the drag strip but yet say his weakness is oval racing. Really!
He wouldn't pay for a good manager or a promoter to do the job he couldn't. Most divers liked the track. This track will never make it with this owner, never! This track with some improvements and a great understanding of oval track racing would do damn good. Ozzy you need to show your dedication like all of the spectators, driver,workers and families have for years. Then maybe you will have a successful business. Its easy to manage a flurrishing drag strip but difficult to bring one back from the ruins like the oval track. My cristobal say's 2 crash-o-ramas a year and maybe and that's a big maybe, special events only! GO TO AUBURDALE! The will treat you fare!

Hey has anyone heard if Ozzy is going to do anything for his weekly racers this year like maybe a( Banquet ) for his top racers that stuck with him all year thru all the mess that happened. It would be nice to here from him on this issue. Before we can start to fix all the issues next year how about finishing this year because he cut our last two race off because jimbo took off out of there . No one has heard anything on this. NSS is having theres at Daytona this year. It must be nice for those guys up there. I'm not the only one wanting to know from him. Boneman you have talked to him has he said anything about this? Question Will Nascar come back for 2014 Who is giving us our year ending pay outs and our plaques that was promised to us For the track champions.

The track pay a % of the purse to nascar. when I did it it was 5%.
That would be the point fund for the year. Also gator aid and other national sponsors would throw a few pirks.
From what I saw the point fund wont pay the MC Donalds bill.
No one went so the fund will be real small.
Don't wory NASCAR will pay it to u for sure.

Giv it a little time and it will work out.
Its to good of a track to sit empty.

I may be incorrect on a thing or two...My point being I learned a thing or two
creating havac with Putnam County Speedway.As a Driver owner of a car it rips your heart out NOT to have a place you call home to race at.But tearing the track up gets evryone, no where.Your owner has the monie but not the now how.That just a guess...But he can learn that aspect really fast..Its best to speak one on one, be involed with the process. .I know where your commin from its fustrating.
