FTS/Desoto Speedway update

Full Throttle Speedway
The speedway has decided that it is in the best interest of the track to
cancel the Super Late Model race scheduled for Dec 7th due to the Snowball
Derby in Pensacola.
We will feature our backbone classes, with a double points night for all
except the mini stock.
The following classes running Dec 7th at Full throttle Speedway will be:

2 great bars- one with TV screen

We want to know what the track did about the incident in the pits with the modified race !!!! Id think long and hard about racing there is nothing was done

NOTHING will be done. Look at the name of the accused, and look at the name of the property owner. It s not a big surprise that hey are spelled exactly the same.

What will be done about it? That depends. No one will be arrested because the perps quickly packed up and hauled ass before the authorities arrived. I'd be very surprised if JR. is ever allowed to race there again.
Now as for something being done about the incident, i think it's a pretty safe bet that JR. might be helped into a wall at some race track in the future. Or maybe he'll just pony up the money for the repairs to the 61 along with an apology for his crews' actions.

I love Desoto Speedway
It is the best place to see short track racing in Florida.
If all of you wont let the Jerrys of the world spoil it.
Go buy a ticket ...Take a car if you have one and make a difference.
With the people that are there now it has its best chance to make it.

I bought a ticket 2 or 4 times to inverness this year.
I also bought a ticket to Showtime opening tight
Most of the time I get a free ticket for all the things I have done for most of the tracks but never use them.
Most of the old promoters are gone now.
I have a hard time making a lot of events that I would like to see.
When I do go I try to find good and report it to the people on here that didn't make it.
Jerrry try it.

I was talking to a track the other day and asked why he didn't ask for help on here. His quot.. (You mean the super 12)...u are #1

Rick.... it was impossible for me to be there Saturday night (sisters 50th birthday), but had my stuff packed for Sunday if it had been rained out. I watched the radar all afternoon hoping for a rainout.... totally selfish on my part, I know.

Now that there are new policies & people in place there, I'm looking forward to a return trip soon to Desoto (or is it Full Throttle...? ).

Rick, my wife and I hung out with OSF during the races. In the pits till the racin' started. We were there Friday for the practice and cook out too. Sorry we missed you.... again..

No problem Jim just glad you made it. Though long I thought it was a pretty exciting race. I did not see what happened on the first lap as I try to follow the leaders in one and out of two. scanned back just in time to see Johnny go head on into the wall. Tough break for a good driver. Not sure what happened in the pits but do know we have 2 deputies in uniform for security and did see blue lights in the pits and it seemed like it got settled there for now. Not sure what it is but the place has an atmosphere about it again....It's pretty cool.
