My thoughts exactly Jason, we may have a problem with this.

Maybe Jack deserves two races? I know of at least two Scott Thompson Memorials. If a fight is made of this, the memory of Jack will be lost in a turf war...

To answer your question Mr. Anges !

I called Kathy and asked her if she would like to have it. Also if you remember Jacks request was that the first be Modifieds and then he said he liked all divisions so it could be switched around to LM, Sprints etc. He also thought it would be cool to move it to different tracks as well. It is what he and I talked about the last couple times I saw him. So if you think I just went off and did something on my own then sir you do not know me very well. I offered Kathy Mods, sprints, LM's and she chose the Late Models. I am sorry if you have a problem with this, but I am doing what Jack asked and with Kathy's influence and blessing. Hope this answers your question and maybe changes your attitude.

Memorials at multiple tracks and divisions sounds good to me as long as they are approved by the Smith family.

A fitting tribute statewide to a man with a passion for a sport he put so much effort into.

If you have Kathy's approval then I am 100% behind this Rick. Thanks for keeping Jack's memory alive. I don't think Jack would want multiple races.

                  Thanks Rick & others !

He did not want multiple races in a season. But he did like the idea of moving it around and doing different divisions each year, because he liked all racing. I will do all I can to make sure we do it with class and make it a great event. I hope to get help and input from many of you. Thanks
