I Agree Ozzy has nothing to offer circle track drivers. things id like to type about him.....Mr. Robert L Hart please do what you could to take OSW back outta his greedy fingers
Katlizy why are you saying this now didnt you think they were doing a awsome job what made you change your mind. to post this SOS for help from mr hart ?
Mr. Hart made a wise decision to lease the track facilities as a package and get rid of the headaches of the oval. He can concentrate on NSS and have a check in the mailbox every month instead of writing a check to cover OSW's shortages. Great business move on his part.
Really EZ? So you'd like to see the Speedworld just sit there and rot into oblivion? That's a good business decision? It has become painfully obvious that Ozzy has no interest whatsoever in the success of the oval track. At first it seemed that he did and seemed that he was interested in making some minor improvements to try and make a go of it. It is apparent now that he has completely given up on the oval and just cares about the success of what he wanted all along. The dragstrip. I just don't understand why he took over the oval too, if he had little to no interest in trying to make it a viable racing venue also. Well, at this point he is making ZERO, I repeat ZERO effort at our beloved Speedworld. I have to say that this a sad, sad development. For if the Speedworld were to close it's doors WE ALL LOSE BIG TIME. I have raced at a lot of different speedways and I truly mean it when I say that the Speedworld racing configuration is just about as close as you can get to short track perfection. Anyone who has driven it will tell you that it just is a blast to drive. Unfortunately, at this point it is only the competitors and some fans that seem to care about keeping the old gal alive. I'll join you, Kathleen, in a plea to Robert Hart to rescue the oval from Ozzy. He doesn't want it, get it back for a small break on the rent, lease or whatever he is paying you for the total property. We all know that you, Mr. Hart, were probably operating the Speedworld at break even or a loss. I think back in the hands of Butch and Barbara Pierce (people that care about the place) the Speedworld could begin to rise from the ashes that Ozzy has created due to his apathy. Maybe somebody who has an interest in oval track racing can be found to pump a little time, effort and money into the place and help it become what the racers know it can be. A bunch of Super Late Model teams showed up a few weeks back to show their support for the place. There's a bunch of us racers from other classes that would do the same. With the right group in place with some fresh ideas there's no reason the place wouldn't flourish. Winter is right around the corner. The snowbirds are coming back and the tourists will follow and the absolute best weather time of year for the area is here. The time is ripe. Please Mr. Hart, before it really is too late ......

How nice of you to assume what I was thinking... I was just trying to help by being positive.. But I guess I was wrong.
