Visited Ricky at Halifax today. He has a broken lower right leg, a clean break, that had to have a rod inserted. He will be wheelchair bound for 2+ months. Will be unable to be at Nashville HOWEVER he will be at the Derby. He is pretty bruised up and in a lot of pain. When he was hit he went into the air and luckily landed in the grass between the track and the pit road entrance right at the beginning of the wall. Ricky is expected to be out of the hospital in the next few days and transported to Pensacola, will need an RV for the ride based on his immobility.
