As some of you may be aware, I have resigned my position as General Manager of Citrus County Speedway. This decision was made with mixed emotions and for a variety of reasons.

I have been a part of the speedway for more than 30 years – fan, pit crew, racer, tech official and management. I have enjoyed my years here and have made many friends along the way. I want to thank all of the fans and racers for their support. I also want to thank my staff. They have contributed countless hours to the weekly operation of the speedway and I appreciate their dedication.

I will continue to provide tires through the end of the season, at which time Mr. Laplant has indicated he will assume this task.

Again, thanks to all of you who have been a part of my time at Citrus County Speedway.

Just want to say thank you for all your kindness to me and little Bobby. Not only to us but I watched you ride thru the pits and personally welcome every driver. What a huge loss for Citrus ...
