Thanks again Kim for posting the results early. Final points night of the 2013 season at NSS was a good night of solid racing. Four of the divisions in double numbers!!! Congrats to all the feature winners and division champions who were crowned last night. DD38 was that your modified with Chad Pierce behind the wheel? Great looking mod!!! The Strictly Stocks would be the final race on the card last night and what a show Jonathon Murphy & #88 Mark Shukwit put on for the fans. Although only 6 cars started the 20 lap feature the end of this race couldn't be scripted any better for a season ender. The #88 Shukwit passed for an early lead on lap one as he went three abreast for the lead on the front straight. #10 Murphy would run second to the #88 for most of the race. Closing little by little every lap on the leader. Couple of fade backs but in time he was knocking at the #88's door again. Around lap #17 he made his charge trying to the inside. Eventually on lap 20 #10 went to the inside and as they came out of turn four for the checkers he bested #88 at the line by inches. Shukwit in the #88 was doing victory donuts at the finish line, when the Voice of NSS could be heard declaring the #10 Johnathon Murphy the winner. Great finish !!! Congrats to Shyanne Mathers on the championship. This young lady has many, many fans in the stands. After a night like this one I wish we had the old speedway papers so I could read about all the action in the other divisions.

dd38 - been following OSW & NSS since '79 and you have supported those tracks well. Thought maybe the late caution brought out by Bruns in the 4B may have helped Chad's bid in your #38 and the #111 Beckner but it was Symons night. Congrats to Symons for the win & the track championship. Nice field of 12 mods for this one. Great to also see the mean looking #9 of Kunzeman back from Houston. Thanks to all the drivers for a nice night and good season of racing at NSS.
