Wow, though I've never been in that situation I would like to think I would help the other guy out of his car before running away. I'm going to guess that he did not have the proper fuel cell in the car? Even without the flames it was a hard hit, however it looks in a video in feels twice as hard when you're in the car. Pretty good response time by the fire crew though, less than thirty seconds anyways.
ive seen this same thing but worse happen at Lakeland years ago very scary. that cody kid is a p.o.s not only take the guy out then he run away knowing the car is burning with a fellow racer inside. i have no respect for someone like that.glad everyone is ok
I don't know if any of you have ever been strapped in a car on fire........cut the kid some slack........how is he supposed to know if the other guy is still in the car????? when you see fire you have one goal and one focus and that is to get the belts off drop the net and get the hell out of the car.......I am pretty sure he wasn't looking around to see what was going on in the other car.........
Now he did drive it in a little over his head to get in that situation and whatever fuelcell he was running was either not up to LM standards or 20 yrs old to rupture that easy.......
