Full Throttle

Was there saturday night.Sitting down in turn 4,you get a feel for the cars as they exit off bank,and power down the frontstretch.

David Wilson won the race.He works out of Anthony Campi's garage.Joe Boyd was second.Two cars prepared by Campi,who's becoming the Ed Howe of the south.I was impressed with both drivers,Also,Chad Chastain is quickly becoming a top notch driver,like his older brother Ross.

Only a matter of a couple of years,and I think we'll be seeing another Chastain driving in NASCAR,

One thing I was not liking at the track,was a couple orf kids,afew of them about Chad Chastain's age,were running up and down the grandstands in turn 4.Then they decided to jump 4 or 5 stands at a time,and landing on the steps that lead up to seating in turn 4.

They broke one of the steps,causing a woman to get hurt,and having the paramedics called.

You would think that the kids would stop this crap,but no.They continued running and jumping around.No parental supervision and NOBODY from track personel interviended.

So until Kevin Williams or Linda Jerica decide to do something,I think I'll stay away from Full Throttle for awhile.....
