These 2 gave so much to racing back in the day. Sometimes good things and sometimes not so good but one thing is for sure... we knew what was going on! KARNAC was big back then .. thes two men, JACK SMITH and RICK ANGES went to every trac and wrote stories, took pictures and did radio shows every single week. Thanks for the memories. RIP JACK SMITH... you are so missed. This pic was taken at Charlotte County Speedway before the inside wall was removed. Our pits were in the middle of the track.. Have so many awesome memories of those days. Miss them.

I remember this like it was yesterday. There was a rumor going around that Bubba the Love Sponge and I were buying Eastbay and on the way to Charlotte that day Jack and I stopped and bought those cigars to make people wonder if it was true. Of course it was not LOL.
We simply loved what we were doing, I miss those days and my friend...Thanks Carol.

funny thing about memories....

they bring such joy but with many tears... this getting old so fast sucks. lol

Shakira (Jack's wolfdog) died of cancer... so sad. I loved her... Alisa told me.
