LM Heat one has some good hitters of the 8 that start. Whitener, Bronson, Fitzgerald and Padgett in this one.

Jason Fitzgerald picked the right lanes through traffic, and takes it over hard charging Kyle Beonson.

Heat 2 has another 8 cars including Ivedent Lloyd, Stanton Mills, Joe Kump and Bo Allen. Looks like the Professor starts on the tail. This could be GOOD.

First caution of the night. 2 car crash on the front straight. Instead of telling what happened, they are talking about the BBQ competition.

Back to green, Chuck Cumby leads, but 2nd place Joe Kump goes WAY sideways and spins in traffic. Lucky for everyone to get by.

Now it's Cumby over Stanton Mills.

Former Mod racer Cumby wins over Mills and Allen. Lloyd couldn't get anything together. Bet the feature will be a different story for him.

Gladiator feature - Ageless Tony Laporta outsmarts the younger guys and smokes the field.

I used to see Tony's name at the old Islip Speedway back in the '70's. must be close to 50 year behind the wheel.

Didn't work, 10 start.

Great battle between Donnie Ashford, Joe Belkey and Bubba Christian, who just took 2nd.

Top-5 runner Chad Scranton spins in 4. Must have broke, didn't return.

Bubba & Donnie side by side, Grady Christian now in it along with Belkey.

Caution: Top 3 are Bubba C. , D. Ashford , Grady C.

Grady tries kamikazee move, doesn't work.

Bubba blows a motor on the last lap with a big lead. Pushed the guts out of it to get to the line first..... Donnie Ashford gets there first by mere feet.
