Citrus county speedways previous schedule states that you're season ends nov/11, that's why we scheduled the EBR race that weekend of the 15/16 cuz you guys where closed, I no the first yr we did the race it conflicted with you.re charity race, and I told you that would never happen again, so I guess the big question is why are we going to run after you're schedule said you where closed.

      Not running Modifieds

      Tony,

This has nothing to do with running against charity I have had Citrus and other running the same weekend for several years of the Charity, just asked that they not run same divisions. With Gary taking over at Citrus we were able to gain a weekend on the lease. So we are putting together something with Trucks and Mod-Minis which are not on the schedule at FTS, Auburndale etc. that weekend. The other divisions will be local ones. I am supporting your race, but at the same time we are trying to end the season with some momentum for 2014. Full Throttle has racing scheduled against the Charity weekend, but I did ask Kevin not to run the same divisions, so I am waiting to see what they decide to run, but I don't expect them not to run that weekend. In no way would I schedule a direct, same type cars race against you or anyone elses event. I hope you would know me better than that. I do think our event hurts your event in anyway, and there is room for both. I certainly hope you understand.

Thanks for the response, I'M glad gary can get another night on his lease, The first 3 yrs we ran this race it was held at CCS , the staff and fans became a part of it, last year when we moved it to showtime a lot of those CCS fans and staff came to support the ebr race at that track as well, even tho it wasn't at there home track, that is why we went with that date. Good luck with you're race.

It looks like Tony picked a date well in advance, as to pick up some of the fans from Citrus County, to come to Bradenton to see the race. So it is easy to see why he is a little ticked? But at the end of the day, each track has there own agenda, and there own bills to pay. Very smart move by Tony to run the race when Citrus is closed, but I am sure he did not think it would be under new managment now.

Every track seems to be having a Florida State Championship race, but there is only one Eddie Brann Race!! I would say Bradenton will loose maybe 50-100 fans, that might have come from Citrus. I am not sure how many other track are running that night, (sunshine is) and if any are running Mods?
