  • Tire cost?

What's a realistic price for a set of s450/s650 tires.
Have never bought a set and was just wondering what to expect. I know people are saying 600.00 but could someone roughly breakdown what a set cost.

    Thanks

That's the best price I've seen. $556 at NSS mounted. Less at Citrus I heard..

Not bad! Do they only last one race or could you get two races out of them with a proper setup?

              Thanks guys!

I have only driven with the tires that came with the truck, don't look all that bad but have races on them plus about a year old. Can wait to feel what new tires feel like.

I get about 3 25 lap races on a 1/2 mile track with mine, then use them for practice till the new set has 3 races. MOD is only 2500 lbs though.
Tire management is key with these tires.

If you run the FUPS you can only buy 2 new tires a race unless otherwise noted that it is a 4 tire race. Makes it more affordable also. They run at Auburndale this weekend.

Ya but since I have not done a fups race then I would need to buy 2 new tires plus 2 scuffed tires correct? How much do they sell scuffed tires for? Unless I'm reading the rules wrong!

23ny was that 558 mounted plus 5 gals came to 558? Or the tires were 558 plus the gas? I want to do orlando this weekend, just trying to see what it's gonna cost me.

They will let you run 2 scuffed tires. They will stick them and see how soft they are is all. So buy 2 tires and join the party!

Do they use nitrogen when they mount the new tires or just air?
