  • Speed World site

Just checked the Speed World web site page (orlandospeedworld.org) for the schedule and all it says is Subject to change. Where can I find a schedule? Have they abandoned that site? Where can I find a schedule?

Still no schedule anywhere for Sportsman (even though they were scheduled for the first 2 dates). I can't race on one weeks notice, I usually work on Saturdays and have to request vacation time in advance. I understand the delay in not putting out an SLM schedule, with the big purse and trying not to have conflicts to help car count. However, all of the other divisions have dates posted on the Fbook page. I'd love to come support OSW, but without some kind of advance notice it's impossible for me.

Still that isn't a reason not to even put something at least a week in advance so I can schedule something. And I don't mean 5 days (there are 7 days in a week). These are not Drag Cars where most of them sit all week and then fill the tires, put a 2 or 3 gallons of gas in it and go racing.

That's not a valid reason anymore, it's not 1995. You can create and modify websites in minutes. If you can point, click and type you can operate a website today. And for almost no money. My website domain and hosting costs me less than 200$ a year!

Geez, give em a chance. At least the track is going to be open.

The Facebook page is very good and I am sure the web site will be also.

                            well,thats the way

Well, thats the way that it was said, now if someone would just read it and think a little about it,maybe, just maybe they could do something to get back on the right track again. How can you keep running cars off, when you dont even have10 cars in any class. Its time to wake up and smell the coffee! try to see why you have no cars, make changes that may bring a few cars that are parked.JUST DO IT!!! the same ol thing not going to work,by now someone should know that.
Don,can you try to teach them about running a racetrack?

They're *working* on getting cars, drivers, and fans back to the track.

This will only be their second week after re-opening with the new GM in charge. We'll see what happens by going to a Saturday night show; just give 'em a chance.
