So far, both New Smyrna and Bubbbas (Ocala) have rained out, so save yourself a trip.
If anyone hears more info, post it here to help racers and fans from wasting time & $$$'s.

Waiting for the word from OSW.. It is pouring and lightning is slamming into the ground right now in Merritt Island.

I know it is a waste of time to say this for the 100th time but WHY do we race in the MONSOON season? The old time native Floridians called the month of August the "slows". Too hot, too wet so no one did anything.

Race OCT-DEC... FEB-APR...

Take the slows and the monsoon seasons off.

Any word on Ellisville would be appreciated- I am still planning on heading there but don't need to leave until 5:30 so I will keep checking back here.

Nss(got the notification on my phone) rained out called about 2:30. OSW,A'dale,Bronson,Bubba all rained out. At Ellisville we raced with clouds all around and not a drop. Got home after 3am this morning..

Still can't believe that tracks won't even bother to post their rainouts and then wonder why their stands are empty? Maybe they're making enough money for pit passes , that the front gate is just icing on the cake?

I rember the phone ringing wide open a we were trying to post anyware we could trying to stop the fans from driving..If I was still there and they came I would give them free tickets to the next race.. Fans are hard to get and easy to lose...

Jimmy, Not everyone does FACEBOOK.

*I* know that, Dave, but, apparently, nearly every race track currently operating uses Facebook as a way to communicate real-time (nearly instant) info, such as the track raining out.

**YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF FACEBOOK TO VIEW RACE TRACK INFO** (nearly any track). If it's happening at the race track, they'll post it there.

The thing with being a "Facebook member" is that that info will also get posted *to you* individually as long as you're "friends" with that page, or "liked" the page.

NONE OF THE FACEBOOK PAGES LISTED BELOW REQUIRE YOU TO BE A FACEBOOK MEMBER TO VIEW. **BOOKMARK THEM.** The only FaceBook page I found in regards to the Florida tracks that you must be a member to view, was Citrus County's (Inverness). **These pages you can check for rainouts, schedules, classes, etc. without being a member.**
