AGAIN LET ME SAY THAT I KNOW THERE WAS NO INTENT ON JIM"S PART but you just cannot drive people in the grass you have to give people room to race.
If a brake line (broke) from simple contact fire the mechanic!
Normalcy is a myth. what is perfectly normal for the Cheetah, Becomes absolute chaos for the Antelope.

I'm thinking the brake line broke when he contacted the outside turn one wall. I was maybe 3 car links behind him and he went straight to the wall. My first thoughts were that he cut the RF tire during contact with me and it would not steer straight.
Upon further inspection, and I can make a picture, my left rear nurf bar is bent forward into the body. Possible first contact, which is just racing. Still in the turn my back end started out and after catching it I had to turn left again because all I could see was wall. Usually when you nudge a car that way and he begins to lose it, you lift to avoid contact with a car loosing control, but this driver got into the gas again and there I was. My nurf bar is jammed into the door and tire marks all the way to the front tire. At that time I was, I think, about in the third line and got back in the gas and catching him into turn one when he went to the wall. I hope there is a video of this and we can see how this played out. Sometimes things happen so fast it is hard to remember what really happened.
Again Fred23, I'm sorry this happened and glad your dad is OK, but I still think it was just hard racing... I hit the wall 2 1/2 years ago and destroyed a Sportsman from a RF rim failure on a 1/2 mile track.

Jim, I was just a few feet behind you going into 3. You washed up to the top, I drove under you, then your rear kicked out and your nose came right back down. When we hit my left tires were off the track in the dirt. I think your nerf bar got into my R.F. caliper and snaped off the brake line fitting. When I went into 1 had no brakes and wouldnt turn either because of fluid or cut tire. Anyway, all o.k. Mike

Thanks for the come back Mike. Things just happen so quick at times that it's hard to piece it together at the speeds we get on a big track..
I knew you were back there and pushed the car maybe a little to hard..
            Glad you're OK..
