This is what I've been told....
Land that the track sits on will go up for auction at the end of the month. It is zoned agricultural and has the max amount of improvements made to it already.(no more permanent structures). So the property "is what it is". I heard there are three groups looking to bid and keep it like it is or make it bigger. The track was making money, but in the grand scheme of things(money owed from previous endeavors ), I'm guessing it was like pissing on a forest fire.

I have a good feeling the place will end up in the right hands.

HEY SPEEDWORLD, about 30 of us need a new home. Race on the bando track once a month ????
          4cyl flat track racing.....just a thought

WOW! was the word of the night with 21 angry 4cyl engins starting the 50 lap $500 to win A-Main. But the action started in the first heat of the night and that just set the tone for the rest of the night... And not to be out done the 4 V-8 / 6's that showed up put on a hell of a slide show.... LOOK FOR the teaser video on monday

I went last night and the place was packed, lots of spectators, good old time Stock car racing, but no Grand stands?

They were on the hunt for some small portable ones. Maybe the new owners will find some.

But first......before anything else.....PLEASE PUT UP A CATCH FENCE !!!!!!

Went there last Sat. night for bucket-list of track chasing venues.

Dirt-Track racing at it's best, it's been told-----nothing could be further from the truth.

OrlandoSpeedworld would love to have a crowd like this. The drivers were good.

Starting at 700PM, and with a few heats, a conci. and a feature, with almost 24 cars, and ending over 4 hours later at 1110 PM.

The place sucks HARD. Worst track/venue I've ever been to. Those that have ever been around the States, the N/E-S/E-Midwest-Out West.....you've seen all types of dirt track racing. Your memories of those tracks will die here.

Stock Car Racing deserves better than this crap-hole.

This venue is primitive, at best. Only tailgating suds-sucking chicks in daisy-dukes in cowboy boots were the best attraction.

Awful track, bad clay, 2nd worst announcer in history, and a 1 hour intermission.

                      Plow this Raceway under now.

Stop taking this sport so serious. My fellow CPRA (Cow Pasture Racing Association) drivers and fans are having fun. .....What a concept.

I'll see you and Jerry at one of those empty modern tracks soon.

                              Worst?

Sounds to me that you haven't seen any really great tracks like we had back up north, that are now vacant and re done over into malls etc., Flemington, Nazareth, Harmony, Reading, East Winsor, etal....
