    The only reason those motors are legal, is because FASCAR miraculously leaves rules out of the book that where in it previous years, to accommodate the Johnson machine shop motors. And as for the suspension in the car when did Ford ever make a vehicle with that type of suspension that was 104" wheelbase. The Fairmont and T-bird are 105.5" and a mustang is 100", so withe the 1" tolerance that is in the rulebook how is it right.

      Ok first off where did you get your info? Was there an official release that I missed that said this? I would like to know just in case the info i heard though the grapevine was wrong. I was told that the 52's heads had 71 cc chambers which is 1 more than the 4 cc unwritten(in the rule book) allowance. Also I heard the he had the world product racing heads on his motor, which come out of the box at 76 cc, and that was the way they came years ago and that's the way the will come years from now. Plus they are better than any production open chamber head that came on any Chevy. So what would be the point of sending them to the machine shop to have them milled? If they are dead on legal right out of the box why pay the money just to make your motor illegal? I believe that anyone that alters the world product head in anyway should automatically be disqualified.

          You're right they were 71 ish. I forgot about the 4 cc tolerance. I was just basing that off the fact that I heard that they were less than a cc under the limit

            hey justanotherspectator, you seem to be defending cars that race out of lazlo's shop. the three superstocks you mentioned,you think you know about minis, you know the correct wheelbase of a fairmont(only seen one race in the last few years)our car is 101" and i will pay you $1000 for every inch you show its wrong. we already showed dick lazlo the engine when it came out of the car. besides that when did a rulebook ever exclude certain engine builders in minis. we have had a car in that class, at that track for the last 15 years do you think that some racers could have more experience working on those types of cars than others. please call me if you have any more questions. jared (321)288-7071

              blown head gaskets and/or overheating.

                Yea, just anotherspectator listen to Napoleon. Let’s shave it down from 76cc to 71.5cc. I guess Napoleon thinks all and sundry is stupid. You could in all probability overheat cylinder heads a couple of times and would not get them down to 71.5cc. But Napoleon is a (genus) that plays in poop.
