  • Sad news for the Sprint car world

Hall of Fame racer, Kramer Williamson from PA. didn't survive his injuries from a crash last night at Lincoln Speedway.

Known for many years as The Pink Panther, Kramer has won races in probably 5 different decades. He's raced against, and beat any 'name' Sprint car racer in the country. He had the best of equipment at times, and others he cobbled together his teams from everyone else's used stuff. And no matter what he was driving, he always had a chance to win.

Truly a PA Posse pioneer, and well respected throughout the sport.

RIP Pink Panther.... you won't be forgotten.

Wow... very sad news... Kramer was a regular down here for many years in February for the IMCA shows at Plant Field and later for the Rocky Fisher-promoted events... He was one of those guys who got the most out of his equipment whether it was the best or not...
Here's a rare shot of him running on asphalt at Golden Gate in 1977...
