  • FUPS on dirt

You might sell a lot of tickets if East Bay or Bubba's would put on a big show for the series. After that show at Eldora with the trucks the fans would go for it. This might lead to something for Speedweeks racing.

Impossible.... those cars can't be converted to run on dirt.

ARCA still does to this day. It's not impossible at all, it could be done. I don't think it would make a good show, but its certainly possible to do.

If race cars would not be so (not a nice word) (not a nice word) (not a nice word) sophisticated today, they could easely race both. Some of you will remember Late Model, early '80s, they race both with the same car. MRE(AFCO today) at the time had a ''convertible'' car that could be switched over from one to another in a matter of few hours, if not minutes.

We took a asphalt sportsman car and made it into a dirt car. A fast dirt car at that. Also I do believe unless its changed the FUP's trucks do have a race scheduled at North Florida Speedway I believe sometime soon. I would love to see the Sportsman cars on dirt for sure.

Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap TN ran asphalt Late Model Stock cars on the dirt. It may not be pretty but it can be done.
