Saw that last night, that sucks. We were planning on racing there at least once this year. After working on the place for what, two years to have it close halfway through the first season isn't good. I kept reading about these "record crowds" that were showing up though, what's up with that?

That's the illegitimate son of public relations.

        Putnam?

Sadly, another one bites the dust, Oh well, low car counts, few spectators, lots of kids and others that don't pay to get in, and another track within 30 miles. Too many tracks , all wanting to run the same night, low car counts, canceled shows, the cars and spectators will usually go to the place where the best shows and treatment are. Just the way it is.

I read it as they're suspending the regular Saturday night program but will be running specials and invitationals. That might be a smart move on their part.

That would be nice and I wish them luck, hate to see a track close...I read into it as simply keeping the door open for the future...meanwhile the bills keep coming as you sit idle, making them shorter on capital, which is most likely why they closed the gate in the 1st place.
