Bummer! I did not know you moved... I remember years ago you were a 'local' but I've been away from the board for a while...

Because we just moved from Orlando to Ohio (for much-better-paying jobs) about a year and a half back. I don't have the finances or resources to just pack up and move back down there again without a *guaranteed* place to live, a *guaranteed* long-term job, and a *guaranteed* paycheck. My wife would have a hard time finding a decent-paying job like we have up here. It's something I wished I had gotten to try *years* ago.

Lurkin, I was not a "Run On" sentence. I had spacing and periods at the end of each sentence. Sorry about your Health issues.

My health won't allow me to read run-on sentences.

Apology accepted. No big deal. I can get long winded sometimes.

Man, I just wish they would tell us what's going on. Good, bad or ugly TELL US SOMETHING. On the website it says there is practice Wednesday. If that's not going to happen they should take that down. I wanna race the Sportsman 50 that was supposed to happen on the Friday or Saturday of Labor day weekend, but now when you click on the schedule it just says "Subject To Change" with no dates listed. That event could be a big shot in the arm for the track. Last year 28 Sportsman showed up for it. Does anyone know what's going on out there besides that Ozzie was trying to work things out to get Bob back? It's a shame, IMHO Orlando is the closest thing I've found to a "perfect" racetrack configuration of all the tracks I have ever run.

*Is* this Bob Watson guy coming back?

*Does* Orlando Speedworld really need some actual help to get the place going again?

It's something I've thought about doing for a *long*, *LONG* time.

    *IF* I could...I would.

    Seriously.
Hey, you know it will someone that has been around the Florida racing scene for years to do it.

So why can't you??? I mean that in the same inspirational and motivational sense as your reply. I know it is nowhere near an easy job, but it would take someone with passion and a fresh view to pull it off. So again, why not???

The real million dollar question is - is upper management/owner willing to be open minded?
