          yellow flag-no guns allowed

Just In Time, the biggest problem with this whole thing is that the racetracks are not doing anything about it. It is becoming common practice, if a driver thinks he recieved a bad call to just drive into someone at 50-60 mph and take things into there own hands. Had the fuel cell in the 5 car ruptured at auburndale on Sunday, and the driver be burt up in the hospital, would they still all be laughing about it. Would Rex still high five Jeff while the car was on fire?? It is one thing to get hurt racing, we all know it is a dangerous sport, but when you get hurt because of an intentional act by another participent, under caution that is a totally different thing. I sure wish racing would go back to how it was 20 years ago. And the first thing to go would be message boards and the internet......

o its the tracks fault?? Drunk driving is the bottles fault and murder is the guns fault.
I think its the drivers fault every time and he should pay for it as is printed in the rule book .Its not the tracks fault
If the track doesent do that then they will cary some of the liability if the driver does it agin in the future.
Its a hard call to make sometime but if you will go back to ur rule book its not that hard.
Have done it to many friends and lost a few because of it .
I did think the message board was a lot of the problem but if the drivers and fans will use it as intended it would be a great way of getting info from the tracks.
Every tome a track or official comes on here to explane anything he is attacked.
Now they don't even read the trash that is printed..
            ok im done for now

Don, it is the track or the series fault for not inforcing any penilties or suspensions on the drivers. I know this is not Nascar, but do you notice how they fine and pentilize drivers, and make it public, therfore people think before they act. Don please tell me what you think should be done to a driver that crashes into another driver under caution.

Incident was addressed and fine was handed out! This will be paid as rulebook states for FUPS, now let's get to Citrus for the Powell Memorial and quit beating this DEAD HORSE!

Havent read the FUP rule book but whatever the max fine or supenson shoule be inforsed. Jeff has been in this posision many times in the past.
some times u feel the pain the driver is going threw but.....
If u cant do the time then don't do the crime.
longest sespintion I rember was never race in florida agin 1985 I think at Desoto speedway a driver got out of the car and the other driver ran over him with there car.
temper has been a thing that the tracks must deal with. No driver wants to hert a fellow driver but when his temper gets the best of him look out.

                    so...

What will be the fine to Campi when he was hitting john guy's right rear quarter panel down the backstretch and turning him around in turn 4 at Auburndale?

Isnt that considered rough driving? and against the FUPS rules?

exnyer, i think campis penilty was being sent to the back of the field???? was it not??, If you really think you can start fining drivers for spinning cars out at auburndale?? You must be smokeing something..lol I dont see your comparason of spining out a car during a race, and being penilized, compared to ramming a car under caution in a fit of rage. the severity of the crime here is being mocked by you...., lets compare apples to apples. A lap does not go by at auburndale speedway, when rough driving does not occure. I am not a fan of campi or schofield, i am not a fan of cars being used to wreck other cars under caution, as I am sure you can tell from my post. I think this kind of activity is happening to frequent, that is all.

                              I dont know

I just saw the comments above about fines and other stuff, so I had to add my 2 cents!

Personally, I love how this happened on Sunday afternoon, and here everyone is on Wednesday afternoon still going on about it? I hear people talk about the "good old days" of florida racing, is that when drivers would wreck each other and then get out of the car and fight right where they stood?

It was different back then and the reason why is there was no message boards or facebook for people to keep dragging this stuff on.
