        Attention Citrus Owm's!

Citrus Mods, this is a great opportunity to burn up those good Hoosier 650/450 grooved tires that you may have left. With Citrus switching to the F53 slicks for the next event why let what good "airplane tires" you have left go to waste? Why not use 'em up flying around that BIG 1/2 mile AND get a payday for it?

Run a 5.14 in the crate. Twist that baby a little! That's what "we" did and K.B. won a few races.

If any of you Citrus guys (or anyone for that matter) have an open motor and wanna come up this Saturday and try Ellisville I'll lend you a gear. If you have a quick change, I've got a 5.22 gear I'll lend ya. Just let me know!

Turned it 6700 with that gear. Tires could have been a little taller. Burt would have crapped his pants if he'd known we changed the gear. Told him it was 6000.
Funny, the other drivers in the class were "ok" with the car even though it had a 4 barrel. Once we put more gear to it and won a few, the bitching began!

And I have a 9" 28 spline 5:14 in the tote for $250.. It's my old NSS Sportsman gear, but only has 2 races on it... locked.

One For the Crate 9" Guys!

O.K., I was out diggin' in the garage. If you've got a Crate motor or Open Motor Mod and a 9" rear with 31 spline axles I've got a 5.00 9" chunk with a mini spool. DON'T RUN THIS GEAR WITH A CRATE UNLESS YOU HAVE A REV LIMITER AT 6200 OR LESS. I don't want anyone blowing up their Crate and without a rev limiter you will turn too much RPM. I don't know how RSB got 6700 R's without grenading, but I wouldn't recommend it. Anyway, It's got 2 seasons on it, but it's solid. I'll give it away for $100! Here's the catch: you gotta run Ellisville this Sat. nite and get all stinky puttin' it in in the pit area. I'll even let you wait to pay me at the payout window and lend you a drain pan! Such a deal! Just let me know if you want me to bring it!
