    Great car count!!!

The weather sure looked bad in the afternoon. Good job of getting it in. I sure hope the Fans see that you try as hard as possible to get the show in anyway possible. Again GREAT job to the whole staff at FTS. And Race Teams!!!

Damn! I had towed halfway to Bronson when we called and found out they had pulled the plug. We were on the fence to pull to Full Throttle but looking at the radar we figured that they would pull the plug also (like most other tracks do when they figure they won't get the fans due to iffy weather) and didn't want to be on the hook for a ton of gas $ and no purse money so we gave up and went home. I have heard too many times this year "We will do everything possible to get the race in" only to be sent home when they didn't want to wait it out. Major kudos to all at Full Throttle Speedway for being true to the RACERS and getting this event in for those loyal enough to show up, even with the dismal forecast. They couldn't have had much of a crowd but raced anyway. It's this kind of dedication to the racer that will help get a huge car count down there, when you know they will truly try everything to make the event happen. Add Full Throttle to Citrus as the two tracks that will DO EVERYTHING (not just say it at the Pit window) to get the event in when the weather is crappy. I see four FUPS Sportsman made the decision to head south to make the event when Bronson was called (wish I had made it 5 ). And congrats to Brandon Morris for taking down another win. Can anyone stop this kid???

          Scott

I talked to Devin McLeod last night at FTS and they started out the day going to Bronson with the Legend got close to the track and got a call that they had cancelled at Bronson. Went back to their shop and inloaded th Legend and loaded the Modified and headed to Showtime. Got to Showtime and they called it. Went back to the shop dropped the Trailer and headed to FTS and witnessed some awesome racing! Thats what I call some dedication to the sport!

I pitted next to Devin when we got rained out at A-Dale a few weeks back. Those guys are true racers AND have a whole lotta fun racing (besides that boy can wheel a car). They even had fun gettin' rained out so it doesn't surprise me they went through all that yesterday! I wish I could be as dedicated but my ol' duallie gets 7 mpg and it would have broke the bank to get rained out twice in one day. Gettin' tired of the rain. I WANNA RACE! Think I'm gonna drag all the way up to Ellisville Speedway next Saturday and show those guys tryin' to get that place goin' some support. I tried to make the Sportsman 50 there a few weeks ago but found a rear end problem we couldn't fix at the last minute. We went up anyway to watch and saw a heck of a show. Had me chompin' at the bit to go back. Jim will you be there with your Mod? Then I think were gonna try and do the double of the Orlando Sportsman 50 and the Full Throttle Sportsman 40 in two days on Labor Day weekend. That oughta satisfy my fix!
