  • Time to start building your cars!!!! "THUNDER SLAM"

Drivers!!! Drivers!!! Divers!!! It’s time to start planning to build your BATTLE/BOT “HOT ROD” for a single car or a multiply car Team. That's right a Team Demo-Mysters.
It’s called “Thunder Slam” will be an event to be involved in. It’s at the Lee County Civic Center (first Demolition Derby ever in Lee County). So start building your car or call for one to drive (rental’s available) in the first of the South Florida’s Demolition Derby and Trill Show Series. Minimum $2500.00 guaranteed purse with “BIG” trophy’s. The show will be great to bring your whole family and friends as well. The Event will have a Thrill Show for even MORE action and fun. The Event benefits the Harry Chapin Food Bank, the Ft. Myers East Rotary Club and Invest in America’s Veterans Foundation. There will be Motor Sports displays/ venders, and many others on the Vendor Midway. But wait there’s MORE!!! There’s the MONSTER TRUCKS and Jerry “The King” Lawler (WWE Super Star). Hold on there’s even more. The FMX Stunt Jumping, Nick Steel CRAZY CAR STUNTS, Quad Combat Teams v/s Teams. And if that’s still not enough “The 4th Annual CALOOSA COOK OFF” presented by the FT. Myers East Rotary Club (yes sampling at the site on Saturday). Ok through in ”The Red Neck Games (competition open to the PUBLIC) and much more to come. So plain on going to THE GREATEST Show for pour entertainment in the State Florida “THUNDER SLAM”. Starts Friday November 22, 23 and ends on Sunday the 24th (three days of outrageous fun)!!!!
Also there is some vendor space still available, or if up have a company that wants exposure that’s in front of Families and possible new customers . Cars available for sponsorships and VIP’s Events.

We even have the High Schools Classes on Friday night (their football season is over) an the kids in the auto shops, Band, ROTC and others are wanting to build cars with their school name add group name. A demolition derby may be a little dangerous for them so we are getting an BIG auto soccer ball and have goal at each end. It's going the be NUTS, but a heck of a good time. The GREATEST SHOW in SW FLORIDA. And it going to kickoff a State Touring SHOW!!!! We have 120 booths for the vendors under roof and out side for a cheaper rate. So build a car or call me about renting one. Email me at fastruckinc@aol.com .

I don't think Bobby "got" your post. :/

I'd be interested to see a "trill show" as well.

              So who is it?

Who is putting this show on? I can't find anything about it on the Civic Centers official web site. http://www.leeciviccenter.com/events/

Here's the scoop!!!And thanks for asking.

There are three of us that are involved. All having different strengths.

The main Man is Rev Prochnow Owner CEO of American Monster Truck Association (check out his company's web site). He is the one that started and heading up the program. Rev call me and told me about the concept about three months ago. He wanted to have the Motor Sports mixing with his Monster Truck Events (some may remember Draco the Dragon and the other Monster Machines Rev built and used in his Shows across the globe). After having several conversation with Rev. He ask if I wanted to be involved in the program. He had the date for the Lee County Civic Center and the theme, sponsors and supporter. He also had the pavilion area that will house 120 10'X10" booth area's under roof with outside areas as well. Rev asked if I knew anyone that was good at filling the vendor areas.

A good friend and a person that put on some of the BIGGEST Shows on the West Coast of Florida (we had the Motor Sports part of her shows for years). I told Rev about Marlene (who is one of the most aggressive people in the business). Marlene Riviello the owner and CEO of Shell Marketing (check out her web site as well) were she was the one that developed the "The BIG BOYS Shows" for the last 20 some years.

I told Rev that as soon as the basic parts were in concrete we needed to get the word out to the Racers (people like YOU) so if they had any interest in getting a car or team of cars built that they would have plenty of time. For those who have Racing things to do on Saturday Nights can be part of the Friday night or the Sunday Shows.

                  The TIME is NOW!!!!

So that's the players that are putting the Event on.

If you have any question your welcome to call me at 813-817-RACE (7223).
And thanks to the racers that have already called about getting involved.

Jimmy Mc... please check out the spelling and let me know. Remember what Earhardt said: Just was get the name right. Exposure!!!! Exposure!!!! Exposure......

Bobby, if you go to just below where you're typing your reply, there's a button that says "Manage attachments". Click on that. A new window will pop up. You can add up to five attachments (documents, files, pictures, etc.). Click one of the "Browse" buttons, then search your computer for the file you want to post. When you find that file, click on "Upload", and give it a minute to do so.

If your picture/flyer is hosted elsewhere (such Fotki or Facebook or some other other Web site), and it's a picture file (*.jpg file), you can just add the link to the actual photo file. When you're adding your reply to a post, at the top of the "reply box", there's an icon that looks like a mountain with a sun. Click on that, and a new box will pop up that says "Insert image URL" or something to that effect. Put that URL in that box, and then click "OK".

Then hit "Submit reply". Or, better yet, hit the "Preview Post" button to make sure it looks the way you want before you post it.

                          rules

If we can get a website link or something with the riles for the demolition derby, then we can start building and finding cars to build. No rule set...no cars
