there is no way to get the message out to everyone, so putting it out to every available means there are is the best answer I can give you anything and everything you can afford. To get your message out to racers this seems to work quite well yet it seems certain places refuse to do so.

I called there yesterday and got the same message basically except that there would be no racing this weekend and the new schedule would be out by the 14th(this Sunday). They must have caller I.D. because Bob called me back this morning and left a message in my name and I didn't even leave a message when I called. Didn't answer when he called because my Cell service up here in Tennessee is very limited(Thanks ATT. Be more reliable if I had a couple tin cans and a ball of string). I just called to see if there was a message pertaining to the future. So apparently someone is there. Think I'll try a little later when I go into the Big City!

SOMEONE from the track needs to *PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE* and CALL YOUR RACERS - car owners, drivers, *anyone* - involved with a race car. Or, at least have a LIVE PERSON in the office to anwser the phone during the week. Like T-Mac says, he tows from Ft. Pierce - a GOOD two and a half hours to Orlando. My dad and brother tow from Vero Beach - that's about a two-hour ride. It'd be nice for these guys - ALL of the local racers - to HEAR something - ANYTHING - about what's going on at Orlando Speedworld.Originally posted by Lizzard View PostUnderstood. And that's just a start.
Hell, put Nerone back in charge...LOL

Karnac facebook ????Originally posted by tccaz View PostWhen will racetracks realize that not everyone who uses a computer lives on that damn facebook? As long as they continue to post messages there most of us will NEVER see them. At least I won't.
Think that more race fans might be on facebook than here.
Doesent mean that they shouldn't post news here but when they do everyone beats the horse to death.

That Was A Cut And Paste From Their Website. On The Website It Was In All Caps. However, When It Was Pasted To Karnac, It Appeared With Every First Letter Capitalized. Strange How That Happened.Originally posted by Rick Anges View PostTyping like this hurts my eyes, please whoever types like this STOP!

I Learned A Long Time Ago To Never Let People Know What Bugs You.

I've mentioned this before, a number of times, but it bears repeating. Does anyone know of any successful business model that involves NO advertising and allows for NO direct contact with customers?
Hire someone to answer the damn phones at the track, or from home, from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Saturday! Not just a couple of hours, 2 days a week. Every hour of every business day. And set your phone system up to make the long winded recording of up coming events optional. I should be able to decide at the beginning whether I want to listen to the message drone on and on, or whether I want to speak to a person.
As in any other event driven business, you have to advertise where your potential customers will see and hear it. Radio, tv, newspapers, penny savers, internet sites, HS school sports programs, billboards, posters, and in kind advertising with vendors and local companies and organizations. Not just for special events, and not just a couple of those at a time. All of them all the time. That's how you get the maximum crowd and racer participation.Last edited by Matt Albee; 07-12-2013, 07:46 AM.
