Ocala-Mini Sprints

After watching the mini sprints run at Ocala during the Powell Memorial, I got to thinking (dangerous I know lol). What if Mike replaced the struggling Gladiator class (4cyl Bombers) with the Mini Sprints? It would give those guys a permanent home, and since Ocala runs on Fridays it would not interfere with any saturday shows they have at other places. Plus they actually get around that track pretty well, and I would much rather watch them than stock 4 cylinder cars.

There was some word that if the mini sprints put on a good enough show during the Powell Memorial, Ocala might give them a chance to race there once a month. 30 cars was a heck of a turnout...I'm with Speedweeks Junkie.

I have to agree with you both on this. This group puts on a great show. They really get around the track, you get a feel of a sprint car race and you don't have to wait for push truck to push them off.
