We've been to a museum over in Daytona a couple of times, it's called Legends of Auto Racing I think. It's NASCAR themed although they have a variety of items and cars on display. And it's run by some very famous former racers. We got a personal tour from Ray Fox. Also got to meet Marvin Panch there.

The complete name is the Living Legends of Auto Racing.

Several years ago Marty Little and some others tried to establish a museum dedicated to auto racing in Florida. Like so many worthwhile projects like this they simply could not generate the support(read that $$$or in kind assistance) to make it fly. The now defunct Florida Sports Museum that was in Lake City had a number of racing related objects. Perhaps Dave and Eddie may have some knowledge of where these items went. Marty may have some info as well but I don't remember him mentioning it in our many chats. One can always hope.
