  • Check Out The Memories

I have just gone over 6,000 items posted on my Florida Racing History web site!! To check it out go to www.floridastockcars.com...

Here is one of the latest photos I posted that was taken just after the 1974 Modified race at Daytona... Tiny Lund had just finished second to Bobby Allison in the race and was sharing a moment with his son Chris... I had a chance to meet Chris (he's a lot bigger now) during Speedweek in February... He does a great job of keeping Tiny's memory alive...

My site also has a direct link to Rex Hollinger's (Boneman) great web site on Florida City Speedway... ENJOY!

Dave, any pics of Bobby's Coke Camaro, CAM2 Camaro, or AMC Hornet from any of the Modified races? I also have seen pictures of Trickle (!) and Rusty (!) in what appear to be either USAC-style or even ASA-style Late Model Camaros/Firebirds in about either '79 or '80 for the Modified race<s>. Would love to see more of those.

I also see Jerry Cook's Pinto behind them in his 38.

Dave, do you know the last time I updated Florida City? It was the last time I had only one racecar. Ever since I've had multiple cars, there just isn't the time to devote to websites. One day I'll get back to it because I have a massive amount of stuff to ad!
