Well, the angel wasn't doing it's job or he wouldn't have had the accident.

HA! I have heard that a large number of people with the C1 fracture are either killed or Paralyzed. Geoff is expected to have a full recovery.

It's great that his spinal cord was not affected. A C1 fracture often compromise the nerves that exit through that area. Those particular nerves are what regulates the heart and respiration. C1 fractures are usually fatal.
