  • Message from the Burkhalter Family...Prayers Requested

Received a call from Chuck this morning and he'd like everyone to know Don'L Burkhalter was admitted to Hospice yesterday. Everyone please keep the Burkhalter family in your thoughts and prayers at this time. I will update as requested by the family. Thanks so much for your support.

Will be praying for Don,L . Have fond memories racing with Don,L and Ralph back at old Orlando Raceway. Best times were after races when we all pulled on front sterch and in field waiting for pay window. Some real good stories and good comradery.

I only met Don'l a couple of times, but it was ALWAYS a riot. Telling crazy stories about long ago racetracks, the fights they would get into, and the parties that would break out.

I'm lucky to call Bo (Don Jr), Willie and Chuck Burkhalter my friends.... and damn good friends at that. I hope everything goes the best possible ways for the family, and hope to see them all soon.

              Hang in there Brothers.......
