Update on the bidding of the Punta Gorda Track
Charlotte County Airport Authority received two bids on the lease of the Speedway. The two bids, as shown below, are were extremely close. The apparent high bidder is Gary LaPlant/Florida Suncoast Van Lines Second, is Haase Investments, LLC
Both entities have initialed acceptance of the three year term with two one year mutually agreeable options, CPI increase at each option, deposit equal to three months rent and performance bond equal to one year’s rent.
To the drivers and fans.
Now what this mean Both bidders have to put a plan together along with the rest of the bid package and submit it to the Charlotte County Airport Authority for there reveiw and take it to the Board on June 20 for there review.
I am doing my best to get this done so drivers and fans have there home track back.
