Wayne survived a wicked wreck at the beginning of the Powell Memorial, nearly flipping the number 84 on the backstretch at Ocala, to finish a respectable 11th place in his try to get yet another Powell Memorial title.

That's only because about 13 cars finished! Most impressive to me was the 1n car of Jordy Nipper. He was sideways against the wall the whole night until he overcooked it and spun. 5 seconds later, Crouse comes and plows into him ending the kid's night. He was putting on a show!!sigpic -

Wayne And Mike......
Never thought I was use the words 'seat time' and 'Wayne Anderson' in the same sentance, but, he is and doin' a great job........ He kept at it and did some great passin' on the inside of turns one and two.
Mike Bresnahan is getting the hang of it too--quickly.
Rich Pratt has a head start on them and it shows. Held on to second for quite a while and ended in third place. GREAT JOB RICH !!

All the Asphalt converts did good last night. I only wish Wayne hadn't tore up his car so much. He races hard no matter where he is. I think you are on the right trail when you talk about seat time. It does sound odd when thats mentioned in the same sentence with the Anderson name. Well have fun at Broson tonight. I am walking out the door for CCMP now. See Yaaa! Bob....Comment
