these are the only assertions about Obama in the entire article:

the only problem is, all of those statements about Obama are true. oh, except that he might have dropped his "principled" refusal to wear a flag lapel pin nowadays.




then you follow it up with:

I don't want to get involved in a political debate on this board but just felt it necessary to correct this statement. You say it's true that Obama "will not salute the flag", "will not say the pledge of allegiance", and the pastor thing I'm just going to leave out. I think it would be fairer to say that Obama sometimes chooses to salute the flag in a different manner than other grandstanding candidates. You ever look through the grandstands at a race to see how many spectators are saluting the flag like the politicians? Most salute it in the same way as Obama did. Standing erect, hat off, looking at the flag. 2nd Claim: Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches.
Senator Obama drew some criticism over a photograph that showed him standing without his hand over his heart during the playing of the U.S. national anthem, but the claim that he "will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance" is false.

Just wanted to correct these statements. My main objection to these types of posts are that most of them presume to be fact when, in fact, they are just malicious falsehoods meant to demean someone.
