Its big mods, but might not be all bad having a e-mod and not burning the tires it on the 1/4 mile
By the way before it is asked the tires will be treaded Hoosier tires !

E-mod would probably be better to run this race. Full MODs will have to dumb down the power for this little 1/4 mile track to keep the tires from breaking loose. I ran an e-mod against full MODs at Bronson, 2 brl carb and all. Did quite well to. Handling will be the key for this track, not HP.

Why does most everybody continuously call them Treaded. Hoosier calls them Ribbed. I call them Airplane tires. I don't see any tread on them anywhere and have been looking for the tread for a long time. When I hear Treaded I automatically think of the Comanche Hoosier makes. I guess because that's what the Mod's started out on when the class was started up. They are treaded and D.O.T. street legal. I guess I just don't like the damn things and Racecars are suppose to race on slicks. But that's just my personal opinion. Let the bashing of me begin.

I remember the Comanche tires on Sportsman. Junk with no grip,lasted all year, but don't remember them being street legal.
Whatever you call it,grooved,treaded,airplane tire... it is what it is..
End of 'bash' I guess.

Yea they are. Complete with DOT number.

From the Hoozier Tire web site dd38:

Kinda like no intake on a sealed 602 crate motor I guess...
