V8 STOCKCAR RACERS HEAT UP SEBRING SHORT COURSE



The V8 StockCar racers return to Sebring International Raceway June 7 & 8 for round 5 of the point championship series with two races on the weekend running with the Central Florida Region SCCA. With 25 plus V8 ground pounders on the 1.7 mile "short" course, the racing will be akin to saturday night super late model action at your local 1/2 mile track.



V8 GT-1 points leader Dave Machavern, in his super fast Tommy Riggins Engineering built, HERITAGE AUTOMOTIVE GROUP Corvette will be on hand as well as last years double race winner Bob Borders in a similar 'Vette, Roebling double winner Bill Riddell in his ex Tommy Riggins Buick V8 GT-1, Ray Webb in his ex Grand Am Olds Cutlass, V8 SPO fast guy Charles Wicht in his ex Kevin Harvick Monte Carlo. Grand Am competitor Squeak Kennedy will return in the BEMCO FABRICATION Monte Carlo as well as V8 GTA points leader Tony Amico and team mates Tom "Hollywood" Graham and George Lutich in their ex ASA Delco series type Monte Carlo's.
