What a night. First thing. a heli came to the drag strip after a tragic accident that involved a death. Then our TQ midgets ran and Geoff Styner was taken by heli to trauma center with serious head injuries. I pray he fully recovers.
TBARA was PHENIMINAL!!!! Those guys are the masters of auto racing. Amazing.
All in all i loved the first night at FTS.. Stands full of people and LOTS of cars in the pits. The place is coming along nicely. Great job Mike, Kevin and all the staff . Even has all the results posted before I got home! GREAT JOB DONE BY ALL!!!!

Wow I didn't hear the gentlemen at the drag strip died. Not sure if that is a true statement. They say he is okay on Bradenton Motors Speedway..Prayers to both of the families.

No one died at the drag strip. A racer had a bad crash and was air lifted to the hospital.

That story about the fatality at the drag strip turned out to be a rumor. It spread through the pits during the red flag for Geoff's accident.

then it's the best rumor. i pray that he will heal and be back racing soon.
