In recent years, he has moved closer to the Central Florida area (Lake Helen I believe), but for many years he followed the NLMS Tour, when the closest track from home (VSP) was over 3 hours drive one way from Hollywood Fla. Many tracks were a 6 hour drive from home, sometimes more. This guy has put a LOT of dedication into his hobby, and I really appreciate him stepping up to the plate to help out JP-III.

Not only is this a one-time ride, but a top quality one at that. Joe's equipment is capable of winning races, so this won't just be an appearance, it will be a run for the win.

I believe they said, he blew out 3 tires on his way to GIS over the weekend. That is wanting to race, I would have turned around on the first one.
