These are all Jim Childers during various years in our cars...'81 and '82 were probably our best years, won a TON of races at St. Pete, the 'Gate, DeSoto, and Inverness; even won the Cocal Cola 200 at DeSoto in '81, beatin' all the big dawgs from up north (Howe, Trickle, Eddy, etc.) and all the hot shoe locals, including Anderson. The '82 car shown here was actually purchased after we crashed the white car on the second night of the '81 season at St. Pete (and Dad'll correct me, I'm sure...LOL), and was our first "offset" car, a Dillon built by Buzzie up in Zephyrhills. I used to play football with David out in the yard of Buzzie's shop while our dads worked on the cars...:-)
