Great night at Melbourne motorsports park !!!

The racing was entertaining, the beer was cold, and the tempers were hot at the track last night. 19 4cyl signed in and did not disappoint the huge crowd on hand. Robert Skinner and Jeff "The Stig" Gross were the big winners. Gross won feature #1 and Skinner won Feature #2. Skinner held off Gross and The #47 of James Frisbee to win the "Dash For Cash" event. Of what I could tell, the #47, #51, and the #54 had some verbal disagreements about "proper driving techniques". Nothing serious, but the fans loved it.

Awesome job by Dick Laszlo, Lee Wagner, Chris Stanton and the rest of the track staff on putting on a great show and making racing what its supposed to be......FUN !!!!!

Doing it again in 2 weeks. come check it out folks.

All in all it was a good night of racing, Kinda hard to get the dash for cash started so I finally had to try it in single file, and that seemed to get it going. As always I had an excellent time with and stellar crew of people that make this happen! THANK YOU TO ALL THE RACERS WITHOUT YOU THERE WOULD BE NO SHOW!!! Thanks to everyone else that helped out also. Here are some of the hidden people behind the scenes, Linda and Ashley Watford (Scoring), Nieldon (EMT/pace truck), Joe, Bear, (track crew/Security) Linda and Kerri (sing in), Kevin Backer (Video), Todd Willems (owner) Dick Laszlo (General Manager) and Of course "THE MAN THE LEGEND LEE WAGNER" (announcer). Im sure im missing some others.
