What a great race it was. I think Neumann was a little faster there at the end of the race than Bresnahan was. If Neumann could of got by Bresnahan, I think he might have had something for Anderson. If it would have been a 125 lapper I think Neumann might have pulled this one off. Great race though.
Also had a street stocker trying to do its best impression of The General Lee. Got airborne after hitting the dirt mound that protects the light pole. I didn't hear the driver yelling "Yee-Haw" as he was airborne though. By sheer coincidence the car number was 01. What a great night of racing though. I think right now Citrus has the best asphalt racing in the state right now. Car counts could be a little better but I think every track has the same problem right now.

Agreed on all points with Mr Debris. Believe Neuman started 13th or 14th and was great to watch him work his way up the order. Was hoping Anderson had picked the inside lane on the last couple of restarts which would have put Neuman behind him at the green, that way giving Neuman the chance to get to second. Then I believe the battle would have been on. Wish I would have thought of the Dukes of Hazard connection, hit the nail right on the head. When the #01 hit that mound I wasn't sure what was going to happen but your description described it to a "T". Great night at the track. The interview with Devin McLeod during intermission was one the most professional interviews I have heard at a Florida short track in a long, long time. Not only is he a great young racer but a super spokesperson as well. Talked to him at intermission and he is a young driver who has his head and heart in the right place. Best of luck to Devin. Kudos to the staff for making that change in the concession area. Not only great new combos but the new line procedure keeps fans moving quickly along. Like to mention also that Apopka Kory Abbott did start last in the feature and put on one heck of a drive for the win. Would love to see him in a late model. Saw a great amount of racing talent in all divisions at Citrus on Saturday. BTW there was a pretty large crowd at the track as well. Nice night at the races....Congrats as well to Flanagan, Stone, and Foley for their victories in their classes...

Have to agree with you Denman about Devin McLeod. I think he really knows what a great opportunity he has driving Dick Anderson's legendary #92 car. It's not every day that you get a chance like that at 20 years of age. And by the way, what a great looking ride. Looks exactly like Dick Anderson's black #92 only on a new Ford Mustang..... One of the nicest looking late models that I've seen in quite some time. And that's coming from a Chevy man.

                  sorry i missed it

But a late start and the distance from Fort Myers made me opt for the show at showtime instead.I will agree about Devin Mcleod.I got the chance to talk to him at his sponsors tent and on the track the final night of the world series at New Smyrna. He was in Tim Russell's 36 that night.Very personable level headed young guy.Hope he stays that way.Best of luck to him this season and beyond.

                    Thank you.

                    Denman, Jacque, and Zerofor...

Thank you guys for the kind words. It means a lot to see something positive said about me from people that I see posting on this forum quite often and have also met at the track. I can't even describe how much of an honor it is to be in the #92 for Dick. It's an amazing opportunity and I'm hoping to make the best of it throughout the year!

                    Thanks again guys, Devin McLeod
