I don't disagree with you. They couldn't come to terms with the way tbara wanted to run the show. Starting line ups double file restarts tbara doesn't do that.

If you were Showtime boss Robert Yoho, with what type of sprint car leader would you prefer to work? Someone who is petty and devisive, someone who boycots your events and tries to damage the quality of your show? I wouldn't give a guy like that any consideration.

However, if I saw a club president who understands that sprint car fans are created by a healthy turn-out and an exciting race, and who knows that new racers are bred after seeing a competitive and fair night, then I see that a leader like that is on the same side of the business as I am. We both want a product that attracts racers and sells tickets.

Mr. Yoho controls his track the way he wants to. He is in contact with the TBARA, and I am hopeful that things will work out some day. Until then, a divided group with few racecars will do nothing to make our segment of the sport grow stronger, so I'll race at Showtime while I'm waiting.

I am a TBARA fan all the way. So is Buff Fritz; he has been for years. No one questions that. The next sprint race is at Showtime on 4-13, then the TBARA runs at Full Throttle on 5-4. Come on out!

Wow, if that's all it was that's trivial and too bad that couldn't be resolved.

I guess neither side could plead or concede their case effectively, then just get a deal done. Neither side seems to be dealing from a position of strength...except the old "Golden Rule".

And Mr. Bone, see what happened to the Top Gun guys when a promoter decides to go it on his own...the series (group) will not grow or stay uniform and organized for the betterment of sprint car racing. This state (Fl) unfortunately has been going through this for too long...sprints aren't a new thing here.

Mr. Bone, don't take this the wrong way but...
If I were YoHo, I would want to work with a group that gave me exactly what I wanted...my way, and that's what he did.

              Mr. Pounder,
He pays pretty well, and has to hope that his facility and show will attract teams. That is perfectly fair; its life in the marketplace.

And no one is giving anything away either; most racers are always in it for themselves. Some really like the idea of a touring championship, like TBARA, instead of running at the same track every race. They are different products ( a little bit anyway), so as long as they don't schedule on top of each other, no one has to chose between them.

Goundpounder, First of all my name is Buff Fritz and Yes I was at Showtime Speedway Saturday night. My son Ben has been hired to drive for a new car owner for the 2013 season and the owner wanted to race that night. As for not "getting the deal done" as you stated....Your ignorance has over ran your mouth. No I havent "caved" as you stated... I merly supported my son whom has been hired to drive for another car owner...which Iam very sure...by your ramblings you wouldnt understand or shoud I re-quote your statement....may be your the one that "shows a bit of stupidity"as you stated. Ben and I have fielded the number16 sprint car with TBARA for 13 seasons...and have been 100% loyal too TBARA and only TBARA. As for the race not being a TBARA Sanctioned event, the promoter has his own ideas in all due respect. In closing.... may be you Groundponder should grow some b_llzs and sign your name to your ramblings in stead of hiding behind a fake name and spreading so much negitivity in the racing family. Buff Fritz
