  • Full Throttle Modified Tires

I checked out the site and they call for Goodyear grooved tires, we ran the 650/450 combo at NSS and they are junk with the big HP motor and the larger tracks. New set every night or you went to the back and got lapped. If you run a E Mod motor then that were they belong.

Desoto with it banking qualifies for the use of the slicks. You can not run the grooved tire more than one race with the high HP so don't think you are SAVING US MONEY. Punta Gorda is not Desoto.

Sunshine is running the F53 slick already your track is just across the Skyway get together and make the right call for the big track. The management of Full Throttle need to get that website up and running so we here it from the management.

I herd that good year is getting out of short track racing so if they go with them it wont be long

They ran the Hoosier 650/450 8 inch treaded tire at PGS. They said the rules are the same so it will be those tires until further notice I am sure.

So you will need more wheels. At least 2 sets for Desoto, I mean Full Throttle (lame), and 2 sets for Sunshine, oh I mean Showtime(even lamer) because of different tire requirements

You need that many sets now unless you only race Showtime since they are the only track on this side of the state on slicks.

That's what I was referring to. ! set of race tires and 1 set for practice for each track if you try to run both tracks on alternating nites (1 week FT and the next week ST). I heard the same thing about Goodyear getting out of short track tire business. Heard that at the PRI show last December Not enough profit in them. Heard that they would have to raise the price to $160-170 each plus your sales tax and disposal fee.
