Seems the Charlotte co. airport authority is going to sue Willams for dismantling the track.Lets see CCAA wont put in drainage,want to raise Williams' lease from 4500 to 8500 dollars a month,and now they threated litigation?wrtf?
As much as the CCAA wants it's pound of flesh from W airporilliams,they may have jumped the gun.The federal gov't is going to cutback on money to CCAA,which will mean less airport tower control workers.now with Williams taking PGS apart brick by brick,the CCAA is short of funds for their new expantion.

Being pressed by "outside influences",the CCAA will now sue Williams for dismantling the speedway.Whadda mess!

I've said Kevin And Mike should learn to read leases, and now sales agreements with Desoto. After reading that news story, maybe John S is the one who better read the purchase agreement carefully.

Look at how many shows were canceled do to flooded parking lots last season. I'm sure there will be a counter suit due to the lack of compliance by the airport to fix the drainage issue. I think he just wants what he paid for, and good riddins with the rest of it. I think he's ready to turn the page. I know I'm sad to see it go, I live in Ft. Myers and will drive right past there to go get my racing fix at Full Throttle Speedway if the port authority or anyone associated with them is gonna run the place.

Kinda sucks about the tires...............wish the tracks would get on the same page. With Desoto being 45 mins from sunshine they could really build a quality car count for both tracks at least with the mods. From what i have seen P.G. wasnt getting the Mod counts it once had...........JMO
