The first lawsuits have already been filed by victims of the Daytona crash. I'll bet on every race day the law firms have people stationed outside in the hospital parking lot on the chance that something might happen at the track that's actionable. The great American way. One of the first lawsuits filed in the Newtown massacre was on behalf of a student who was a witness and not one of those shot. While the child may well have suffered great emotional trauma the thought of trying to be first in line just doesn't sit well with me.
