For the pole they told her " You weigh 100 pounds less than these guys.Hold this pedal down and hold this wheel straight, and the car will go 198 mph".

You could do a ride along or if you have enough dough, drive a stockcar at Daytona. It's an experience.

The ride along is out of the question. I just don't think I would be comfortable (read chicken) to sit there while someone else is
in control of the car. Driving it myself, HELL YEAH, at Daytona where
they limit you to around 160 mph should be like driving down I-4

Two years ago, someone gave a gift: 16 laps at the Petty experience. I trailed the pace car, followed their instructions exactly, and the speed gradually rose to 155. I know that was 40 mph slower than they race at. Although I would have gone faster, the fact is 155 was unlike anything I've ever done. It had my full attention.

Rex , remember Sebring with the FMSC ?
I did the math with the final gear ratio, tire height, and rpm , and we were hitting right at 130 on the airport straightaway.
I didn't have windshield braces and when that sucker bowed in at me , YES, it had my full attention. LOL.

Danica predictions

Joanna Long gets more out of her car than Danica does.Her race at Phoenix was cut short,because Sam Hornish missed a gear shift,and Long ran in the back of him and messed up her car.

Overall she gets more out of her car and skills and Patrick does wih her multi-million dollar team.At least Long won the Sowball Derby once
