  • Very sad news about Freddie....

Freddy's son Jay just called me and said that due to extensive brain damage they will have to "let him go" today. Though it is so sad for us, Freddy lived a long life and ended it doing what he loved the most. Please keep his family in your most reverent prayers as this is probably the hardest decision anyone will have to make.
Jay will post when they make final decisions about services.
God bless you Freddie! You will be missed...

"Fast" Freddie raced for a long time... He was already a veteran when he raced against kids like Mario Andretti... This photo is of Fred at an indoor show at Commack Arena in 1961... Back in the late 80's/early 90's he was always mixing it right up at OSW with the likes of Dave Steele, Dude Teate, Keith Butler and the Gimmler Bros. when they were just getting their start in the TQ's...

Rest in peace to a great man, Freddy Stutz. He will be remembered by many as a great racer and man. I will really miss him at the races and going into the corner side-by-side. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Stutz family. I would also like to thank the racing community for all of the support and prayers through this rough time. Freddy will be with us at all of the races and cheering us on.

Race on forever Freddy! You will never lose another race where you are now.

Great photo! This man is in the hall of fame and is also a Pine Brook Speedway Champion.

What a sad story. Aside from the effects to Freddie's family, it is a blow to the already troubled FMRA.

What a legacy that would be: somehow leaving a stronger midget presence on Florida. They are great racecars, and it is sad to see how little midget racing is going on here.
