Well, Boneman, you would have seen a great show at Volusia - I debated about NSS, but had to try something different and hadnt seen a sprint car show yet this year.
The track seemed to be in great shape - they seem to stay on it with the equipment throughout the night and that looked to pay off.
Darrah, Kemanah and Lasoski had a great battle early and again when they hit traffic. Kemenah absolutely lost the race on a boneheaded move on a restart. He was the leader and ran below the cone for no apparent reason - he lost two spots (got one back when Darrah had a flat) but couldnt get by the Dude with 3 to go.
Jac Haudenschild was the only guy I have seen flip out of the park in the same corner in two different wrecks (one over the outer wall, one over the inside wall - still thinking about the physics on that one) in the same night. Needless to say his night sucked.
Sprints were bad fast low 13's high 12's and the mods ran pretty clean.
I still have a ticket from the rainout that i want to use - so maybe with the big blocks later in the week.
Freezing cold, but out around 11.
