Tuesday night at Volusia saw 77 UMP Mods go for 8 time sessions - 8 heats - 4 Second Chance races - 20 Lap Feature and a 12 Lap B Feature. 25 or so Sprints on hand for several practice sessions. #20 Sanders (from Texas) was the feature winner in Mods. Wallace, Algaier, Stremme, Schrader, the Dillon boys, Gaughn, Crafton, Marks were the Nascar drivers in the Mods. Most name drivers practiced in the Sprints, Kinser, Swindell, Jason Lefler, Lasoski, plus other top drivers. Show over about 11:45-midnight. Track looked real good and racing action in the mods was very competitive. Sanders and Bronson put on one heck of a race in the feature with Sanders winning. Felt good to be back at the dirt in Barberbville again!!! The best $20.00 value in racing included fan Pit Pass. Think they bump it to $29.00 tonight. Hope rain stays away. Fyi, the credit card machine at ticket booth was not working so couldn't use debit card. Make sure you have enough cash on hand just in case.
